The Salty Sea
July 20, 2013 § 14 Comments
I am feeling a little beaten up and soul-weary these days.
But soon I will return to my home along the coast. The salty sea will wash over me and heal my body. I will stand before the ocean and let her energy and peace fill up my soul.
I can already feel it coming.

Holding a space of love and light for you Tom
Wishing you peace, for your soul and body – enjoy the ocean.
Blessings on your journey back to the salty sea.
nothing heals like the ocean, tom. your ankle good enough to surf yet?
Dave,
Sadly, no. But I’m going to let the waves roll over me today. Long run, it’s several more months of physical therapy. But I’ll be back.
Tom
soul-weary .. indeed. lovely picture.
here’s to that delicious moment when peace fills your soul…
Peace and energy to you Thomas, and thank you for your words.
There is no better place Tom — I try to get there each day as our ocean is only a few miles from home. Even if it’s just for an hour at sunset – pure positive energy in every way~ Blessings and Love to you, Robyn
The healing powers of the salty sea. Ain’t nothin’ quite like it!

“Beaten up and soul weary . . .” now that’s something I know a lot about–so many “dark nights of the soul” when I thought “surely, this time, I will finally die!” No chance. You’re going through what you need to do to get to the other side where you can laugh about it–even while it’s happening. (You did mention your intention to practice “witnessing”, aka “present moment” consciousness right?) Yesterday, for example, watching the movie of my little life, I noticed intense and distinctly different emotions as I responded to scenes my mind slapped on the screen. It can be amusing if you choose not to get involved (just like meditation). Best wishes on your journey!
I so understand your need and desire. I too can feel the wind and salt air on my face. Have a wonderful time. 🙂
lovely photo, Thomas. we all feel a bit beat up some time. nice to be reminded of the soothing qualities of the natural world. be well, my friend.
